The Bears and Packers play tonight, for the 177th time in the history of their rivalry. For anyone who cares, that means that if these two teams played only each other, they would be playing in the first game of their 12th season. But who's counting?Rex "The Sex Cannon" Grossman and the Bears need this game in order to stay alive in the playoff race. They're currently trailing the Vikings by a half game, and will pull into a tie for first if they win tonight. The Vikings play the Giants next week and the Bears play the Texans, so that would put the Bears in pretty good shape. If they lose today, however, they would lose the division tiebreaker to the Vikings, and would miss the playoffs regardless of what happens next week. If the Bears win tonight and finish the season tied with the Vikings, it could come down to strength of victory. You can figure out all that on your own.
General Aaron Rodgers won't let the Packers down, though. By that, I don't mean he'll lead them to victory in this game. I mean he'll make sure they don't lose next week. They play the Lions, and they'll need to get this game out of the way as soon as possible, so they can prepare to take part in history, and hand the Lions their 16th loss. That is paramount here. The Packers should probably rest Aaron as soon as possible, to make sure he's fresh for next week.
But someone tell the Bears to watch out for Aaron Rodgers' sleepy eyes. Don't let him fool you, he's ruthless.

77% of FanIQ picked the Bears to win. I can agree with that. Why, you ask? 3 reasons...
#1: The Bears are at home.
#2: The Bears have something something to play for, and the Packers don't.
#3: The Packers are resting up in preparation for their huge game next week against the Lions. Everyone knows that all the pressure in the world will be on the Packers next week, and that's all that matters right now. Forget the Bears, that Lions game is the game of the year for them.
Aaron Rodgers will not let us down. Next week, that is.
