As Sandy makes landfall on the East Coast, a different kind of storm brews in the West [MNF Live Thread]
Tonight's game features one very good 5-2 team and one team that surprised the league by starting the season 4-0, but then lost 3 straight.
The bad news for San Francisco is that the game is in Glendale, what has quickly become one of the most difficult stadiums in the NFL for opposing teams. And as with all NFC West teams, the Cardinals have a pretty stout defense. The good news would seem to be that they'll be starting their backup quarterback. Although, that may not be such a great thing, considering Skelton is 6-0 at home.
Obviously Arizona has to stop Gore here, and San Francisco has to shut down Fitzgerald. Which defense breaks first? Q it up here tonight for MNF!
