The last time two NFC East teams faced off in a featured game they lit up the scoreboard unlike any division matchup had ever seen. Hopefully you're not expecting that tonight. Tonight's Eagles-Redskins game should be your classic struggle for points and tripping over oneself. (Of course my writing that in this space assures a shoot out)
After last week I have no idea what to expect. The Eagles went to Green Bay and couldn't overcome two muffed punts. I've got to believe Philly is a much better team than that and we'll see them tonight. The Redskins moved the ball well against Miami, but struggled to pull out a win in OT. Even worse, they lost RT Jon Jansen to a broken ankle. What do you guys think will happen tonight?
87% are taking the Eagles (90% of the experts also went with the home team)You know the drill. Feel free to laugh at the Philly fans which will inevitably find a way to embarrass themselves in primetime, wax poetic about Brian Westbrook versatility, or strike up the annual Art Monk should be in the Hall of Fame conversation if the game gets out of hand. I'll try and come back down to Earth in time for kickoff, but no promises. It's not often you get this kind of endorsement.
The Eagles-Redskins spread was set at -6.5, the same as that very predictable (whoops) Bengals-Browns game. 71% of fans still haven taken the E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles.
