Blog Photo - Monday Night Hockey [NHL Live Game Thread]The Ottawa/Boston game has already been postponed, but the rest of the games are scheduled to continue.  Our thoughts and prayers are, of course, with all of those affected   I have not heard who is responsible for the explosions and it doesn't matter.  The only ones we need to think about should be those injured or killed.  Please keep them in your thoughts.

Here are the rest of the scheduled games, all times Eastern

7:00 pm

New Jersey Devils (15-16-10) at Toronto Maple Leafs (23-13-5)
Broadcast:  MSG-PLUS, LEAFS-TV

Jess:  Leafs, I think.

Bryan:   I'm taking the Leafs.  The Devils need every point they can get but I don't think they'll get any tonight.

Debi:  I have to agree that the Leafs are going to be the winners in this one.  The Devils just aren't pulling it together the way they need to.

7:30 pm

Philadelphia Flyers (17-21-3) at Montreal Canadiens (26-10-5)
Broadcast:  RDS, CSN-PH, TSN-HABS

Jess: I'm going with the Habs here.

Bryan:   Les Habitants vont gagner ce soir.  Je déteste les Flyers!

Debi:  Hey, I actually understood all of that, Bryan!  I agree the Habs will win it all.

8:00 pm

Dallas Stars (21-17-3) at Chicago Blackhawks (32-5-4)
Broadcast:  TSN, NBCSN, CSN-CH

Jess: Oh please, Blackhawks, make 'em hurt!

Bryan:  Blackhawks win this one at home even though Dallas will be desperate for points

Debi:  I agree that Chicago will win this one, hopefully in a decisive manner.

Vancouver Canucks (23-12-6) at Nashville Predators (15-20-8)
Broadcast:  SNET-P, FS-TN

Jess: Go Preds!

Bryan:  I'm calling the upset here, Nashville wins it.

Debi:  I won't pick the Canucks (except I think I accidentally did in the Game Centre) and I hope the Preds put a whoopin' on the nuckleheads!

9:00 pm

Columbus Blue Jackets (19-16-7) at Colorado Avalanche (14-22-6)
Broadcast:  FS-O, ALT2

Jess: This one is a tough pick. With the way the Avs started out just looking at their record seems to make this a no-brainer but I'm not so sure. Colorado has been on a rip. I'm going to stick with them.

Bryan:    I gotta go with Columbus here, they actually have a shot at the playoffs!

Debi:  I'm still rather shocked that the Blue Jackets have a better record than the Avs.  I know, I keep saying that, but I am!  I think Columbus will take it!

Minnesota Wild (22-16-3) at Calgary Flames (16-21-4)
Broadcast:  FS-WI,FS-N+,SNET-W

Jess: I would normally say the Wild, but I've got to lend some moral support to my co-hostess!

Bryan:   I am gonna take Debi's Flames to play spoiler here tonight.

Debi:  I'll never go against my Flames, although I think they will have their work cut out for them tonight.  Just hope they continue to play hard and with as much heart as they have been in the past week or so.  The boys have impressed me a lot.  They want to succeed and that desire is showing.  Go Flames!

10:00 pm

San Jose Sharks (21-13-7)  at Phoenix Coyotes (18-16-7)
Broadcast:  CSN-CA+, FS-A PLUS

Jess: Uhm...Phoenix.

Bryan:  Sharks win this one in the desert.  Phoenix isn't quite done, but they're on life support.

Debi:  Yeah, I think the Sharks have this one to end the night.

There you have it!  Games are underway momentarily, so don't forget to make your game picks here!!

AWESOME Flames, didn't give up and scored three goals.  They didn't win, but they didn't give up, they kept fighting.  The Wild win 4-3, but they had to work for that win.

I`ve spent so much time lately at BP while my daughter has been working, watching hockey, that I`m not really watching either.  I actually watched Dancing With The Stars, and I intend on watching the Voice in a few minutes.   I just need some `love and light` in my night.

It's weird - usually (especially around this time of the season) I'm all about some hockey, regardless of who's playing. I think I'm on overload though from the M's and Ducks playing so much at the same time that tonight, when neither are playing, I find myself not wanting to do much more than listen to music and play Tiger 14, or maybe read. Working on a project for work right now though (stay tuned!)...but I'm coming in here to keep updated on what's going on with the games. Keep me posted, ladies and gents cheeky

I'm trying to focus on the games that are being played, best thing that we can see after today.

Speaking of the early games, the Devils lose again, 2-0 shutout at the ACC!  6 points out with 6 games to go...that's a lot to ask!  This ties a franchise record with a 10-game losing streak, and the Leafs have pulled off the season sweep.

UGH"!!! Philly is way ahead of Montreal, and the Wild are ahead of the Flames, 1-0
