During the third inning of this morning's game in Japan, Gary Thorne and Steve Phillips got to talking about Alex Rodriguez and his role in Jose Canseco's new book. Only Thorne believes it's Jason Giambi's book.
Thorne: "Jason Giambi's new book on steroids is coming out and he names A-Rod."
Phillips: "...yeah, Jose Canseco..."
Thorne: "Those throws from third to first will be interesting this year. Only in the bronx!"
Then Thorne finally catches on to the Giambi slip but continues on anyway.
"If you're A-Rod and Canseco, you can't let that sit out there, you'll have to call a team meeting to clear the air."
So now it's Canseco's book again, but Canseco is also playing first for the Yankees.
