It's 'Dega Baby! Let's go Racin'
Maybe it will be Michael Waltrip, who has onboard cameras today that will show us things we've never seen before.
Last year it was David Ragan who took the checkers first, and it is entirely possible a first time winner could be in Victory Lane.
It's the fastest track on the circuit, and at 2.66 miles around, it seems to take forever to run a lap. That being said, when the cars get together and run in a pack, it seems to take no time at all to get around the track. Lapping a non-pack car takes only seconds. The very last lap of the race may be the slowest for the driver leadng the race and the fans cheering him on, and at the end of it all, one driver goes to victory lane and the rest just relive the moments of the race.
It all gets underway in just a few minutes and I'll be here, all race long. I'm picking Dale Jr to win and tie Jeff for wins. I'm also predicting a big one. Really, you say?? Yes. You see, Talladega has gone caution free. It won't happen today.
Brian Scott leads the drivers to the checkers, with Paul Menard alongside. Look for some drivers to stay near the back and others try to lead every lap. Who will win it?? We'll find out in about four hours. Let's go racing!
