Because of yesterday's severe weather, the NASCAR Nationwide race was postponed to today. That race will run immediately after the Sprint Cup race, the Aaron's 499. Now let's face it, it will no doubt be longer than 499, due to the Green White Checker finish we will likely see.
As I said in the preview, picking a winner at Talladega is almost a gut feeling, and as Kramer said, it's more of a crap shoot. However you pick your winner, almost anyone can win. Will it be Gordon? Johnson? Jr? McMurray? Or maybe Denny or Brad? Who knows, it could be any one of them.
So race fans, the weather in 'dega is sunner and warm, judging by the T-shirts and sunglasses on NASCAR Raceday. Get set for 800 miles of racing, and join us here if you are at home watching. The Cup race is on FOX and the Nationwide race is airing on ESPN2.
