As I sit here typing, I'm wondering what I'm doing here. OK, I guess I could say that I want to shout out loud how much I love car racing. I've grown up with car racing. My parents would haul us kids (4) to the tracks in the Puget Sound region on weekends. I've been to as many as 3 race tracks in one day. I knew one of the local guys who raced dirt track in Kitsap County. My oldest brother raced an outlaw car. His son started out racing quads and went to go carts. He won everything he entered. He moved his family back to North Carolina to be in the middle of racing. Ken went to work for Ray Evernham. My nephew works for GEM. He has also driven a late model stock. Now, sometimes, he's working together with James Hylton. I think this makes me a very long life time racing fan. For me, taking tests and quizzes and proving my knowledge is NOT what it is all about. It is about supporting your local tracks and drivers. Its going to the local races and cheering the drivers on. Its not all about THE BIG BOYS. To me, the local drivers are the bigger hero's. Just my opinion.

Sounds like you're apologizing and there is absolutely NO reason to. The local tracks are where most race fans go. We know those guys and love it for exactly the reasons you stated. They are our friends, neighbors and relatives. And quizzes? Here's the scoop...It's all for fun! Don't let that stuff get you down. Most of the people that post the quizzes and trivia got it from somewhere else. In most cases, posting a quiz doesn't mean they know squat!

1	NW I don't know squat about trivia either I do it for shitz and giggles and to take up time when I don't fell like doing what needs to be done around the house Good blog our local dirt tracks are very important in fact I was at my sons baseball games and could here the cars at Bridgeport. Do you know how bad I wanted to bag the baseball game and head over there.
