Champ Weekend Continues with the Ford 300 [Nationwide Series Live Thread]

It's time to go racing for part 2 of our 3-part championship weekend! Last night Johnny Sauter won a rain-shortened Ford 200, but Austin Dillon managed to finish in the top 10, earning him the championship.  Today, Elliott Sadler will roll off the grid on the front row, starting 2nd along side pole sitter Brad Keselowski.  But just one row behind him in 4th will be Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Sadler needs to go out and win this race, but he also needs a miracle scenario in which Stenhouse falls out of the race very early.  The young Stenhouse needs to finish only 37th or better to win his first championship.  There are a handful of Cup drivers in this race, and I believe one of them will probably wind up winning it.

My Pick: Brad Keselowski

He won the pole for this race, and finished 2nd at Phoenix last week behind his teammate Sam Hornish Jr.  Brad has the potential to stink up this show.

Dark Horse: Justin Allgaier

He rolls off the grid 5th, and has looked strong many times this year.  He does have a win, and he should be up near the front of this race all day.

This is your official live thread to discuss the happenings before, during, and after the race.  Let's go crown a champion!

Edwards and Stenhouse with a cool burnout, do a hood-to-hood burnout.

And on lap 32 Ricky clinches the championship!

Congrats to him!  He has been very consistent this year.

And he must be glad he its over and done with as he is having horrible radio issues today.

Carl Edwards is my pick to win these race.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is my dark horse pick to win the race.
