NASCAR Nationwide Series NAPA Auto Parts 200 Live Thread
The road starts here, well yeah I do mean the road course for the drivers, but I'm also talking about right here on the Q for all you NASCAR fans.  It's your NASCAR Nation VP again with the open race thread for this week's Nationwide Series race at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.

This week you'll see all different kinds of drivers, from Truck Series drivers like Ron Hornaday to the good ol' Buschwhackers to the road course ringers.  Someone will get to hold the trophy high, but who?  Last year Kevin Harvick won while Robby Gordon made some victory doughnuts of his own behind Happy.  This year Harvick won't be there, but Mr. Restart, Ron Hornaday Jr., will be driving his #33 KHI Chevy.

This is your official weekly thread to discuss the happenings before, during, and after the race is over.

Good observation! I am loving that the fans there embrace the Canandian drivers. Did you hear that applause the got? Makes my heart sing when I see that kind of adoration for a NASCAR driver. Wonder if Kyle Busch would ever understand what adoration would be like?

Oval smoval! So they wouldn't be able to drive 190 mph? Go figure! I think they'd all cry like babies if they had to do that. Just my opinion...as humble as it may be.

It would be an equal playing field for all drivers for sure and still called racing no matter how fast they are going!!  But how do you think it would work on high banked course? I'm all for it as Monday races are tough on the fans!  But if it would be a wreck fest on the high banks then it could be a problem!

I didn't get to see most of it, just in and out, but I did see Logano in the wall with a lot of damage late.  How did he manage to still finish 4th?

What started out as something neat to witness certainly didnt end the way Nascar probably wanted it.  It's never good when guys are wrecking on the caution laps

On ESPN, they only showed the top ten after they called the race and unofficially, it was Fellows, Carpentier, Ambrose, Hornaday, Said, Edwards, Leffler, Biffle, Bowyer and Scott Wimmer
