Knowing what I do now about Vince Carter, I'm surprised he didn't injure himself during this remarkable dunking exhibition. Before I had this sour perception of Vinsanity, I was always in awe of his dunks.

The 2000 NBA Dunk Contest momentarily put the event back on the map. His reverse 360 windmill is one of the three best all-time, and the pure height on the between the legs slam wasn't far behind. It was Vince's world that night and we were just living in it.

All in all, Carter gave us five dunks we'd never seen before. I'd be shocked if that happened again.

The most underrated part of that arm in the hoop dunk is just how painful it is.  That was one of the greatest all-time dunk contest performances.

Dream match-up would be Carter against Richardson in a dunk contest. Carter pushed it to the next level and Richardson owns probably the best and third best dunk of all-time in a dunk contest. Those two being the off the backboard between the legs (can't believe Jones won the contest) and the bounce off the ground one-handed three sixty reversish thing. Can't explain it but you know what I am talking about.
