The Miami Heat are the odds on favorite to win this year’s NBA title, and no other team is even close. The Heat are such huge favorites that they are receiving a negative moneyline when no other team is getting anything lower than five-to-one. NBA first-round series prices have also been released and the Heat are a ridiculous -18000 favorite over the Bucks, which means that a gambler would have to wager $18,000 on the Heat to win $100.
Here is a quick explanation on how the odds work. Negative moneylines, such as -200, mean that a gambler must wager $200 in order to win $100 on a certain event. Positive such as +200 mean that a gamblers will win $200 for every $100 that they wagered. Here is a quick look at the odds to win this year’s NBA title.
