How does a Celtics fan feel about the events of last night ...I honestly thought the worst thing that could have happened on Draft Day would be the Celtics drafting Joakim Noah. But Danny Ainge was his usual self, and found a way to somehow do even worse.
The C's traded the #5 pick(Jeff Green), as well as Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak to the Sonics, for 32-year old Ray Allen and both of his surgically repaired ankles, as well as the Sonics 2nd rounder (#35).
I'm not sure where this is supposed to leave the Celtics, but they certainly are FARTHER from a championship than they were a week ago. Pierce and Allen might be fun to watch for a little while, but they still have a LONG way to go before they reach respectability.
