Minnesota takes Andre Roberson at No. 26 then ships him off
Roberson is an elite rebounder and hustle player. He was among the best rebounders in the Pac-12. Energy and rebounding are two of the main skills that translate to the NBA, so Roberson should find a niche in the league.
OKC drafted Steven Adams earlier in the first round, who shares some of these qualities with Roberson. Clearly, if OKC does in fact receive Roberson, is attempting to stockpile their roster with energetic bigs that don't to score to impact a game, in the mold of Serge Ibaka.
Reports indicate that Golden State, who did not have a first rounder, acquired this pick from Minnesota and then moved it in order to get into the first round. OKC owns the 29th pick, which now appears to be headed to Golden State.
