The Timberwolves have been very active today and the activity continues.  After selecting Roberson, a forward out Jun 27, 2013; Brooklyn, NY, USA; Andre Roberson (Colorado) poses for a photo with NBA commissioner David Stern after being selected as the number twenty-six overall pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2013 NBA Draft at the Barclays Center. Roberson is an elite rebounder and hustle player. He was among the best rebounders in the Pac-12.  Energy and rebounding are two of the main skills that translate to the NBA, so Roberson should find a niche in the league.

OKC drafted Steven Adams earlier in the first round, who shares some of these qualities with Roberson.  Clearly, if OKC does in fact receive Roberson, is attempting to stockpile their roster with energetic bigs that don't to score to impact a game, in the mold of Serge Ibaka.

Reports indicate that Golden State, who did not have a first rounder, acquired this pick from Minnesota and then moved it in order to get into the first round.  OKC owns the 29th pick, which now appears to be headed to Golden State.
