The Lakers are very much in charge of the NBA Finals right now. With a commanding 2-0 lead, they have made a pretty emphatic statement after the first two games. They're not going to let Dwight Howard take over this series, as evidenced by his 14.5 ppg in the first two.

Can Orlando turn it around at home? They have shown that they're at least capable of beating the Lakers, as they came within one lucky bounce (or Pau Gasol goaltending call) from winning game 2. So they should be able to take this one at home.

The game starts at 9:00 pm EST, and it will be on ABC. 65% of FanIQ picked the Lakers to win, which would definitely spell disaster for the Magic. If you're watching, chat it up here. As always, enjoy the game!

Well the Magic did what they needed to do and got the W. It is a brand new series. This was one a game the Lakers could have taken, but they did not get enough out of Odom, Kobe went cold from the field late, and they left too many points at the foul line. But the Magic came out and shot lights out for nearly the whole night and from halftime on the Magic made plays when they needed them.

Now just I hope the Lakers will take the approach that they took in Game#5 of the Western Conference Finals and remember that an NBA title is not a given here and that they need to fight for two more wins, because the Magic have drawn blood and they are not going to stop.

Okay I have spewed enough cliches.

kobe thinks he is fouled on every possession... he is the tim duncan mixed with ginobli of LA flailing and whining about every single possession... dont even sit there and complain about refs. kobe also should have recieved a tech several times for complaining to the ref in the fashion that he has.. same with odom so shutup.

for the record i think its hilarious that any la fan or even member of la (phil jackson, pau gasol, kobe) complain about the refs. its pathetic and a great sign of homerism. open up your eyes and quit looking through the beer googles and notice what your team does.... many times dwight is called for a foul its not. and several NBA analysts have disagreed with star treatment given to kobe and lebron throughout the playoffs. wake up dj
