The line of thinking after Game 3 was that the Celtics certainly couldn't play any worse and should be set the rest of the series if Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce play to par. One fault there: what about Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol's continual shrinking acts? They've each got issues, but can play better.
We know Kobe will get his, but should just one of those two complimentary Lakers show up I don't think it'll matter that KG and Pierce will inevitably play better tonight.
Another concern for Boston is the health of Rajon Rondo. Less playing time for him means Sam Cassell and Eddie House will be chucking up shots they shouldn't, which is never good.
Then there's the whole Doc Rivers coaching mess. Leon Powe plays beautifully in Game 2. Game 3, Rivers plays him six whole minutes and he had as much of an effect and I did. That has to change, Powe is the Jason Maxiell for Boston. His energy is needed, especially on the road.
All I'm really hoping is that with the day of rest in LA, this game matches the attractiveness of those in the stands, instead of Game 3 which looked a little more like the Bostonians we're accustomed to seeing.
66% are picking the Lakers. I like LA as well.
