Ever wonder why the Draft Lottery is in Secaucus, New Jersey? Yeah, me too. Something about NBA Offices, I guess, but wouldn't it make more sense to have this right in downtown Manhattan. Anyways, that's probably the least of their concern. Chief being that this unveiling of cards will outdraw the game that follows.

On to the Lottery. I think it'd be great if Philadelphia somehow snuck in and won the 1st pick? Would Billy King still hate the process? Or (wishfully thinking) Chicago could add Oden to the low post, a fitting conclusion to one of the worst trades in NBA History. That's just a few of the outlandish, yet possible stories that make this night fun. Of course, it's really all about Oden and Durant and who's fortunate enough to call them their own.

Following the draw, I'll have a quick take on who I'd select with each pick. So feel free to discuss the Lottery right here, and then if you're still watching keep it going during Game 2 of the Western Finals.

0	I'd watch the lottery but listening to David Stern talk really is annoying. I never understood also why it is held in New Jersey. They should have it at the NBA store in Manhattan.

0	Do I want the Suns to get the #4 pick this year, or do I hope that Atlanta gets #3 in the lottery and still sucks next year? I think I want them to get the #4. If you are the team with the #1 pick, presumably a team with numerous needs, and the Suns offer you their 3 first round picks for the #1, do you take it?

If you are the team with the #1 pick, presumably a team with numerous needs, and the Suns offer you their 3 first round picks for the #1, do you take it?

I guess that depends on the team. It'd be an extremely controversial trade, but it could pay off. I don't think the fans would like it though.

0	That's outstanding. Also makes the Durant vs Oden debate interesting. I can see a Durant being a better fit for that offense. Brandon Roy may be the happiest man in America. Not only did his team win, but Roy ascent to stardom will happen much sooner with inside help.

0	Durant in Seattle if Allen and Lewis are still there... I don't see a huge fit. What about Portland trading with Seattle so they can get Oden and Portland gets something which I can't think of? Just a thought. I hope Portland drafts Oden though.

1	They are just such a young team! They don't know how to handle the veteran Spurs and the Spurs are taking advantage of this! Sloan is pissed I'm sure. But I think the Jazz are doing just about all they can! It's just the Spurs are way too good!!!
