Hot Hot Memorial Day Weekend Recap

Ashley Judd's husband wins Indy 500.  And apparently he has a name, too! It's Dario Franchitti, and, as you may recall from my earlier piece on Ashley Judd's husband just now, he won the race. He won it and he won it good. He won it for the 4th time in his hot, rockin' life. I think this Tweet sums up the race quite aptly.


By the way, did you know the tradition of drinking milk after winning the Indy 500 was born in 1936 when driver Louis Meyer drank a bottle of buttermilk following his victory. Apparently it was his mother's suggestion as she believed it would refresh him. 



The Spurs keep on Spurring Imagine if the Spurs end up sweeping the Thunder, sweeping the Finals, celebrating their victory with a spirited round of high fives, and then get to bed at a reasonable hour. 

But seriously. What else does this team need to do to become the favorite to win it all? Keep on doing what they're doing? OK, then they will. 

I think their secret weapon of this series may be the taking the charge. They racked up a few late in the game against Westbrook, and could really start to get in his head if they continue to get in front of him like that. That would totally be the Spurs' secret weapon.
