Every day during the NBA playoffs, the Triple Threat will break down the latest action as we get closer to awarding the Larry O'Brien Trophy.Houston 94, Utah 92 T-Mac owes Carl Landry a Rolex or something. McGrady was better in the clutch tonight, scoring 7 points and picking up some big rebounds and the Rockets stormed back from seven down to six up late. However, T-Mac also committed an offensive foul, allowing the Jazz to hit a big three, and with a chance to seal the win, McGrady missed badly, giving Utah a chance to win. Carl Landry saved the day though with a block on Deron Williams with 0.2 to go. Utah leads the series 2-1, and in a surprise, the road team has won every game so far.
Washington 108, Cleveland 72 This was a good old-fashioned butt kicking. The one possible bad thing for Washington was that Gilbert Arenas left the game early and might be done for the series. However, that might be not that bad a thing. They played better without him. DeShawn Stevenson scored 19 points, meaning for at least one game he wasn't humiliated. Cleveland still leads the series 2-1, meaning the Wizards still must win Game 4 to make it a series.
Toronto 108, Orlando 94 Reversing roles from the first two games, the Raptors jumped out to the early double-digit lead and held on for the victory. Toronto scored 61 points to take a 21 point halftime lead. In addition to the loss, the Magic also saw Jameer Nelson go down with back spasms. However, Orlando still leads the series 2-1.
