NBA Playoff Triple Threat: That LeBron Guy Is Pretty Good

Every day during the NBA playoffs, the Triple Threat will break down the latest action as we get closer to awarding the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Cleveland 116, Washington 86  So does DeShawn Stevenson still think LeBron is overrated? LeBron had yet another 30 point game, with 12 assists, and 9 rebounds, just missing his thrid career postseason triple-double. Cleveland was up by 13 at the half and strecthed that lead to 25 in the 3rd Quarter behind LeBron's 14 3rd quarter points. You would think that with all of the talking done by the Wizards to start this series that their three All-Stars would come out fired up to back up that talk. Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison, and Gilbert Arenas shot a combined 10-36 while scoring only 28 points. I know they say that a series really doesn’t begin until a team loses on their home court but the way that the Wizards played tonight, does anyone think this series will last much longer?

Utah 90, Houston 84  Kyle Korver made one field goal all night at it was the biggest. He hit a shot clock beating, one handed shot with 20 seconds remaining to give the Jazz the 87-82 lead. Tracy McGrady had another spectacular 3 quarters but the pressure defense of the Jazz wore McGrady down and he was held to 1 point on 0-4 shooting in the 4th quarter. That is the second straight game that the Jazz have been able to wear down McGrady, 0-3 in the 4th quarter of game 1. Mehmet Okur stepped up his game with 16 points and 16 rebounds against the depleted Houston inside game. I hate to say it but I also think this series is over.

I'm shocked - SHOCKED - that we might not see McGrady in the second round.

As for Skiles, the Bucks have already quit on him. Why? Because they're the Bucks.
