NBA Playoffs Live Thread: Cavaliers vs Hawks, Mavericks vs Nuggets
Next Victim For The Cavaliers: The Atlanta Hawks [NBA Playoffs Live Thread]
LeBron James and the Cavaliers dominated the Pistons in their first round series. With the way they're playing right now, it looks like they could follow suit all the way through the Eastern Conference Championships and into the Finals.

Next up for the Cavaliers' amusement: the Atlanta Hawks. They barely squeaked by the Miami Heat in round one in what is widely considered to be the most mediocre 7 game series in... well, maybe forever.

The Cavs are the big favorites in this series, and I would be shocked if the Hawks can even squeak out a single win and avoid the sweep, to be honest.

Hawks at Cavaliers - 8:00, TNT

The second half of tonight's double-header on TNT features the Mavericks and Nuggets. Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets lead the series 1-0 already, and are looking to pull up 2 games to none before the series moves to Dallas.

Mavericks at Nuggets - 10:30, TNT

But we do get to potentially see the most athletic matchup ever with Josh Smith and LeBron.  In all honestly, I'd rather watch that than see D-Wade vs LeBron.  Either way, it all ends with a sweep. 5 games tops.

Hopefully that includes some between the legs bricked dunks at the end of games.

Well that is one way to start a game.

Just think how much better Atlanta would be if they had drafted Chris Paul or Deron Williams instead of Marvin Williams.

One of my all time favorite draft moments.

Sager will let him know.

This game has been boring. Cleveland is a better offensive and defensive team than Miami so I guess we are in store for 4 games of blow outs while the Boston/Orlando series goes 7 long games.

For the second straight game, Denver is making their run with Chauncey Billups on the bench.  He got way too much credit for their run to the 2nd seed.  He brought sanity to an absolutely insane situation, but there are plenty of guys who could've done that.

I'm sorry, but do you honestly think that bringing sanity to an absolutely insane situation does not deserve that much credit? That same sanity that have propelled Denver from where they were last season to where they are right now? And maybe there are plenty of other guys who COULD HAVE DONE that, but you cannot validate that unless those other guys HAVE ACTUALLY DONE so. Fact is, Billups DID it (you said it yourself).

Any normal point guard could've done it.  Yes, he deserves some credit for actually doing it but to think that no one else could is kind of ignorant.
