NBA Playoffs Thread: Does Utah even have a bandwagon?
READ MORE:
NBA

Thanks to the Suns, we aren't looking at four series sitting at 3-1 tonight. This postseason has been so outstanding, I'd prefer this round go as long as possible. For the NBA's sake and for my own interest.

Bulls at Pistons (8, Det 3-1) I really can't conceive of a way for Chicago to win tonight other than wishful thinking. Of course, Skiles could listen to me and play Thomas and Sefalosha more, but we've seen that won't happen. 'Stons are too good. 80% say Detroit

Warriors at Jazz (10:30, Utah 3-1) Seriously, has anyone jumped on the Jazz bandwagon. I'd like them if it weren't for ruining this 'Dubs mania' that has been so captivating. Warriors have played well when they needed to this postseason. Party's not over yet 63% say Utah

Since it's the Warriors, we shouldn't have any trouble keeping the thread lively, so enjoy.

Nice start for the Bulls. What a pleasant surprise to see the ball go through the net more often than not.

Just thought I'd let you know.  The Cubs blow.
Phillies winning 2-1, 0 outs, bottom 5, 2 on.

This has been a good start.  Great to see Gordon on fire early! If the Bulls can figure out a way to win this one, it could get interesting.

Not quite sure what that has to do with this thread?

LOL, Some of these NBA games can just be plain out boring.  Then some of them can have all the action in the world.  So I'd rather spend my evening watching baseball.  Doesn't make any sense.

I think what you are trying to say is sometimes your watching the Western Conference and other times you are watching the Eastern Conference.

Well I was aiming more for sometimes I'm watching College basketball, others I'm watching NBA, but hey, your idea worked too.

At no point will I feel comfortable with this lead.

I agree but... they are looking a lot better than they did a week ago.  I don't know why they fell apart in the first 3 games, but they really look like they have gotten some swagger back.  And 'Sheed is starting to lose it, Billups in foul trouble....

What about this lead?

Bulls seem to play well when Hinrich plays well.

Ok feeling better, and I heart Tyrus Thomas

Looks like the Bulls finally have remembered how the sport of basketball works...

Now people jump back on the Bulls bandwagon, they feel the pressure, and collapse in the second half of game 6 after holding a 15 point lead earlier. It's a pity that I will have an almost eerie accurate prediction.

Arrgh! I had to go to my son's karate class and I missed the end!  Loving that the Bulls finished the game out, gave Detroit a beating and tightened up the series! Hoping they can defend the United Center once more!

If they could grab a rebound, they would really be blowing this game out.

Why does Utah even let Giricek shoot? Has he made a single one?

1) it's annoying
2) there's a reason you're the only one here talking to yourself
3) #2 is sad and I thought I'd help you out
4) it's really annoying
4) the cubs won

If you are only commenting to yourself then what is the point? Can't understand thoughts in your head unless you read what you already was thinking?

I hope Jackson gets thrown out.

What a shock, Jackson had a melt down.  Maybe Stephen A. will offer him some cheese doodles so he calms down.

Melt down complete. Nice run Warriors.

You haven't said anything meaningful tonight BAB. Just f bombs, and homophobic comments. I'm doing you a favor by deleting them.

If you want to talk about ACTUAL basketball, this is the place. There's a lot of intelligent fans here. If you want to keep up with this, have a good evening elsewhere. It's that simple. I'd prefer you stay and be an enthusiastic fan and leave the rest of the garbage behind.

Beast - you and Stephen Jackson should hang out.

Both meltdowns occured at the same time. go figure.

that should have been double Ts on boozer and Barnes but when the refs are looking for the warriors to lose their cool they only notice Barnes.  I hope this stays close, cause if it doesn't it has a chance to get really ugly.

beast, I'm trying to be nice here but read through your comments tonight and find me one that sounds remotely intelligent. It's hardly english.

In real news, Beast why do you think the Warriors have such a difficult time with composure?

If the Jazz somehow lose, all those free points they gave away will be the reason.

5/16/07

I'm saying this because it's been at both ends ... but the officiating has been way below acceptable this postseason.

they game will be called closely from here on out.  It will be important to get in the lane and get to the foul line.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Do you think Nelson's free style kind of coaching has something to do with how the Warriors control their emotions?
Barnes is money, wouldn't mind him on my team. Same with Fisher I guess.

Haha there isn't even enough room on this site for one Beast let alone two. I'm glad we won't be hearing much from Beast anymore after the collapse of the Warriors. Maybe we can now have a peaceful thread.   Wishful thinking I guess
