Before we get to the intriguing Western Conference First Round rematch, I offer this message in regards to the first game on TNT's doubleheader.

There's a really good chance the Chicago Bulls start their season 0-5 with the Pistons visiting the United Center 3-0. I'm hoping a rival might spark some interest on their part, but who knows.

I'm a little more intrigued by the late game where the Dallas Mavericks face off against Baron and Nelly for the first time since getting smoked last summer in the first round. Golden State has similar struggles to the Bulls and could very well be the victim of a painful payback blow. Good night of hoops, feel free to discuss it here.

0	I doubt anyone is still watching, but this Golden State-Dallas game is awfully good. Azubuike just threw down a disgusting putback dunk off of a missed layup. It's currently 71-70 Dallas with 6 to go in the 3rd.

Hah, painful payback blow indeed. You don't realize how bad Golden State is in the heads of the Mavs. They've gotten to Nowitzki so bad he airballs wide-open shots. Devin Harris is frantically flopping and diving every play. Josh Howard fouls out. Sagana Diop is nearly useless.

Golden State was playing without one of their best players and Matt Barnes was banged up and Dallas BARELY won last night. It was a VERY small step to recovering from last year.
