NBA Triple Threat: Your (almost) daily roundup of last night's action in the Association:Phoenix 122, Golden State 116 The Warriors trailed by 17 in the first half, but came all the way back to lead 107-96 with 6:59 to play. Then it all fell apart. The Suns went on an 11-0 run to tie it up, then made the plays down the stretch to win the game and eliminate the Warriors. Denver will be the #8 seed (at least), while the Suns remain on pace with Utah and Houston in the 4-5-6 race. Golden State came back without Baron Davis, who was on the bench most of the second half about a 2-13 shooting first stanza. It wasn't all well for Phoenix, who lost Grant Hill for precautionary reasons after Hill aggravated his sore groin. That loss of course pales to what the Warriors have lost: their season.
Utah 105, Houston 96 Both of these teams are now 54-27, but the Jazz own the tiebreaker due to beating Houston 2 out of 3. This is very important if they end up meeting each other in the playoffs, since it'll mean that Utah will have homecourt advantage. As we know, the Jazz just don't lose at home. Utah broke it open by outscoring Houston 35-19 in the second, giving them a 15 point lead at the break. That lead grew as high as 21, and the Rockets comeback attempt fell well short.
Washington 117, Indiana 110 With this result, the Atlanta Hawks have won the "race" for the 8th seed in the East. Congratulations long suffering Hawks fans. Have fun getting destroyed by Boston in four games. The Cavs win, meanwhile, assures the Wizards that they will be playing Cleveland in round one once again, on the road once again.
Cleveland 91, Philadelphia 90 Well, that was interesting. The Sixers thought they had won the game when Devin Brown missed at the buzzer. However, the refs reviewed it and ruled that Samuel Dalembert fouled Brown with 0.2 left. Brown sank his two free throws, and the Cavs escaped with the win, and are now assured of the #4 seed in the East. The Sixers, meanwhile, are left to scratch their heads.
Chicago 151, Milwaukee 135 Here's your weirdest scoreline of the season. According to CF and kantwistaye, this was a double tank. So, in essence, Chicago "lost."

- Bucks coach wants quick decision on future - Here's a hint: You're gonna get fired.
- Billy King was courted for Bucks job - I didn't buy the "Hire Simmons" talk, but even he could probably do a better job than Billy King.
