NBA Triple Threat: Your daily roundup of last night's action in the Association:Another comeback win for Dallas Houston's mental fortitude will once again be in question after they blew a late lead to Dallas, falling 100-94. The Rockets led by as much as 17 at one point, and 91-86 with 1:39 to play. The Mavs promptly went on an 8 point run, and Houston lost the lead for good. Again, Dallas comes back from double digits, but obviously they shouldn't make a habit of it.
Wizards win without Arenas Time will tell how Washington deals without Agent Zero, but so far, so good as the Wizards defeat Charlotte 114-111 in OT. Amazingly, it was their 6th straight win. Butler (39 points) and Jamison (27 points) picked up the scoring slack. To keep this up though, the Wizards must get some help from someone on the roster. It would help if they could dress more than 9 players a game too.
Spurs hand Magic first road loss The Magic started this year 7-0 in road games. That's impressive no matter who they've played to get there. There's no shame in that streak ending in San Antonio. Orlando played well in the first half, headed by Dwight Howard's 19 points and 12 rebounds in the first 24 minutes. However, in the second half, the Spurs were just too strong. The Spurs have yet to lose at home (big surprise there).
