NBA Triple Threat: Your daily roundup of last night's action in the Association:Celtics defeat Arenas The Boston Celtics won the NBA championship last night, or so it seemed from the never-ending praise by the announcers, fans and the players themselves. Kevin Garnett led the way with 22 points and 20 boards. Gilbert Arenas will not be confused with Nostradamus any time soon. Hopefully this result won't discourage him from further blogging.
Lakers & Suns decide to swap uniforms for the night That's the only explanation for how the Lakers could look so good and how the Suns could look so bad. It seemed that every shot the Lakers put up went in, while the Suns couldn't buy a basket if they went to Pier 1. The Suns were playing the 2nd game of a back-to-back after arriving back in Phoenix at 3 or 4 in the morning, but that's still no excuse for a performance like that. This game was enough to make Laker fans think they might have a decent team, and enough to make Kobe want to stay. Don't worry though, neither feeling will last.
Toronto embarrasses New Jersey Final score: Raptors 106, Nets 69.

Rumors du Jour
- Spurs sign Duncan to extension - Unlike some of the extensions mentioned yesterday, this one probably won't be an albatross.
- Isiah Thomas was actually smart for once - He wanted to settle, Dolan didn't, guess who won?
- Dennis Rodman wants to coach in the WNBA - Like Isiah Thomas around women, but 100 times worse.
Now it's your turn: share your thoughts on the on and off court action Friday night in the NBA.
