NBA Triple Threat: Your (almost) daily roundup of last night's action in the Association:Bulls lose--to Knicks That really says it all for Chicago, but what's worse is that they had a big lead after three quarters. However, everything imploded late in the fourth. The Knicks finished the game on a 14-2 run to win 105-100. It was New York's second win on the road all season.
Heat lose--to Wolves Win #5! For the Wolves, it's one step closer to avoiding total futility. For the Heat, it's just embarrassing. Without Shaq, the Heat fell behind by as much as 19 points, losing in the end 101-91. Minnesota raced to an 11 point lead after the first, and for once we're able to hold on.
Adding injury to insult in Seattle As if scoring just 79 points and losing to the Cavs wasn't enough, the Sonics lost Kevin Durant late in the game with a sprained ankle. If he's out for any length of time, there is no reason to watch Seattle anymore. The Cavs, meanwhile, remain undefeated in 2008.

- Jason Kidd, NJ: 13 pts, 11 rebs, 12 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk...The frequency of Kidd's triple doubles has been amazing this year. Too bad the Nets lost to the Bobcats.
- Eddy Curry, NY: 29 pts, 11-14 FG, 8 rebs, 1 ast, 4 blk...This includes 9 fourth quarter points to help sink his old team.
- Andrew Bogut, Mil: 13 pts, 12 rebs, 3 ast, 1 stl, 3 blk...A good night for a former #1 pick that hasn't developed a whole lot.
- Shaq won't be traded - With his decline and his contract, I highly doubt he could be traded unless Isiah got involved.
- Bucks after Doug Collins - Hooray for retread coaches!
- More on the Wolves incompetence - Just a reminder that tonight's win was like putting a band-aid on a napalm wound. Sigh.
