NBA Triple Threat: Welcome Back, Chris Bosh

NBA Triple Threat: Your (almost) daily roundup of last night's action in the Association:

Chris Bosh is important Cause and effect: The Raptors get Chris Bosh back in the starting lineup after being hobbled the last five games, then defeat Houston 93-80. Bosh finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds in 41 minutes. Toronto trailed by 11 at the half, but came out firing in the third quarter, starting the period with a 12-4 run. With 3:52 left in the quarter, the Raptors took the lead and never relinquished it.

Lakers own Warriors again Tonight marked LA's ninth straight win over Golden State 123-113. The Lakers have won 14 of their 15 against the Warriors, and are 16-1 all-time against them at the Staples Center. Kobe again heated up in the second half, scoring 20 of his 28 points. The supporting cast picked up the slack though, as six Lakers in all finished in double figures.

Heat end five game slide In turn, they also gave Pat Riley his 1200th NBA coaching victory. He can mostly thank Dwyane Wade and his 35 points and 10 assists. Shaq might find another reason to complain, as he scored 8 points and 4-8 shooting.

Best Lines
  • Dwyane Wade, Mia: 35 pts, 5 rebs, 10 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
  • Brandon Roy, Por: 26 pts, 11-13 FG, 8 rebs, 9 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk...Roy also had a go-ahead bucket in overtime for Portland over the Bucks.
  • Jason Kidd, NJ: 13 pts, 10 rebs, 13 ast, 1 stl...Despite the triple-double, the Nets lost to Washington by 15.
Rumors du Jour
Now it's your turn: share your thoughts on the on and off court action Sunday in the NBA.

I'd much rather have Miller than Bibby, that's for sure. Miller over Kidd? No, but for the value it might be a much better option.

It's probably a realism thing. The Cavs don't have enough to get Kidd, and thus feel Miller is the next best thing. I agree that Miller's a better option than Bibby.

I'd have to disagree. While Bibby has been injury prone, I would take him over Miller. When Bibby is healthy, he is one of the best PG's in the NBA.
