After getting rocked by the USC Trojans, Ohio State was looking to rebound this week against a different Trojans team, as they welcomed Troy into the Horseshoe. It wasn't the blowout that OSU hoped, as the Trojans were still able to hang around at halftime, only down 14-10.Freshman Terrelle Pryor got the start, and actually looked pretty good as a passer. He threw for 2 TD's in the first half alone, and then 2 more TD's in the 4th quarter, as Ohio State won 28-10.
Buckeyes star RB Beanie Wells sat out again, and Daniel Herron was the leading rusher, with 20 carries for 93 yards. Pryor was OSU's 2nd leading rusher with 67 yards on the ground.

Skip Holtz' Pirates got tripped up today. After beating Virginia Tech and West Virginia, they shot up the rankings, and people were talking about a possible undefeated season and BCS bowl. Those hopes were dashed today, and with WVU losing again, ECU might drop all the way out of the top 25, since those wins look less impressive now.
