South Carolina-Georgia Heads up Week 2 [NCAAF Week 2 Live Thread]

Blog Photo - NCAA Football Week 2 Live ThreadAs nice as it is to have college football back, there's one unfortunate thing about early September games, bad matchups. Most of the top teams are playing cream puff opponents, and even the lower BCS conference teams are mostly doing the same. The question there is will there be another rash of FCS upsets?

There are some big games today though, none bigger than South Carolina at Georgia. The Bulldogs are smarting from their opening week loss to Clemson, but a win today would keep them right in the SEC and national title race. To get that win though, they must stop Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney had at least on the surface a disappointing opener, although those smarter than me say he was much more disruptive than the sack total showed. The other two big games of the day are rivalries that will be holding their last meetings for sometime: Notre Dame-Michigan and Florida-Miami. The rest of the top 25? Forget about it.

Don't forget to place your Q bucks on the line at the GameCenter. Also check out our experts predictions for Week 2. Below is the Top 25 schedule and all the other televised games throughout the country.  The top games are in bold, while other games that might be interesting to college football junkies are italicized. This Georgia/S.Car game has been a good one , going to watch the ND/Mich game as well which should be just as action packed.

Florida offense ... well  indecision

Florida's offense is, uh, not good.

I've decided to "root" per se for Michigan today because their fans brought it with the College Gameday signs today. Obviously, Notre Dame is an easy target, but those were the best I've seen in a while on Gameday.

Some good match ups on the card today  yes
