Another week of college football, and the games are starting to get a little interesting. This week's highlights will be Oklahoma trying to take on upstart Tulsa without Sam Bradford and Jermaine Gresham, and Lane Kiffin taking his Vols into Gainesvill and taking on the defending champion Florida Gators. Kiffin has already talked his share of smack, but I don't think it will help against the Gators.

In the other notable game, #13 Virginia Tech continues their early-season gauntlet against #19 Nebraska. This is the 2nd of 3 ranked teams in their first 4 games. They already lost to Alabama, and they'll play Miami next week.

Absolutely, Scott.  Congrats to Northern Illinois University for their first win against the Big Ten in 21 years.  They almost won at Wisconsin and deserved to win at Purdue today.  The MAC continues to play the Big Ten tough.

With all of the talk about Kiffin and Meyer, I completely forgot about the Tebow'Berry matchup.  They've had one great head-on collision and Berry has an interception.  It's a fun matchup to watch.

I am actually enjoying it.  I hate the games where they walk all over their opponents. I wanna watch them use their skills! Coulda done without the INT, but that Hit was a monster, two hard heads at full speed..LOL

Washington is a dangerous team this year. I think it was on the BSU-FSU game last night, where the commentators were discussing the game against USC, and how they couldn't see how it was possibly going to be a "trap" game.

I think it's safe to say that the Tennessee defense is going to keep the Vols in alot of games this season.  If they can get a passing offense to go with there rushing, they could make some noise down the stretch of the SEC schedule

Washington had zero wins last year... this year, they're 2-1, and could end up being ranked this week. They played LSU close in their season opener, and they beat USC. That's definitely good enough to be in the 20-25 range.

These afternoon games have certainly lived up to there billing.  Oregon ends Utah's 16 game winning streak, Virginia Tech scores with less then 30 seconds to knockoff Nebraska 16-15 and Notre Dame/Michigan State are in a shootout in South Bend

Another Big Ten giveaway.  The Michigan St. quarterback misses a guy open by 20 yards in the end zone and then on the next play throws one up for grabs (when MSU was already in field goal range).

And Ohio State isn't feeling real well about that game either.  They were counting on the Trojans running the table to help their SoS.  This could sting the Buckeyes at the end of the season.

It will be great to see how Urban Myers offense and playbook works for his QB's in Florida. It will also give the fans  good idea as to how much they will be behind him after Tebow leaves for the Pro's.
