NFC Championship - Player Spotlight - Brandon Jacobs
1/18/08

The focus of discussion from football fans across the country about the upcoming NFC Championship game this weekend is Brett Favre and Eli Manning...Many fans have recently started their Brett Favre fan clubs and that is understandably so...On the other hand Manning continues to get bashed by both the press and fans, yet I think the guy is a pretty good football player and an ever better individual...Yet as a fan I see the key to this game being each teams performance on the ground.  The Giants must consider three things in their game plan, this is Lambeau, it's January, and it's cold. Brandon Jacob's performance on the ground this game is key to the success of the New York Giants.  At 6-4, 264, Jacobs, #27, is a monster in the backfield. As a 2005 4th-Round draft pick out of Southern Illinois, he has pounded his way into being being known as one of the hardest hitters in any backfield. Jacobs could easily prove to be the "game changer" that runs New York into the Super Bowl...
