Drew Brees and the Saints have the chance to send another old man QB off into the sunset, a week after beating Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals. Brett Favre and the Vikings are coming into the Superdome to try to knock off the #1 seeded Saints.56% picked the Saints to win, and if they do, it will have to come with a big game from Brees. He has been their bread and butter all year, and he has torched some very good defenses.
On the other side of the ball, Favre and the Vikings have also made some good teams look bad, and they have a great multi-dimensional offense with Favre throwing to Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin, and Adrian Peterson running the ball.
Personally, I'm still convinced that Brett Favre will cost the Vikings the game with some key interceptions, but hey... maybe he'll have a good game. Stranger things have happened.
The game starts at 6:40 pm EST, and it's on FOX. If you're watching, chat it up here all night. As always, enjoy the game!

Adrian Peterson just said that his Vikings gave the game to the Saints by turning the ball over so often. I was watching the game that he was playing in and it's for sure that the Vikings didn't give the Saints diddly-squat--the Saints took the ball from the Vikings repeatedly, with Saints fists pounding the ball out of the arms of Vikings running backs and receivers, and Saints arms cradling in Brett Favre-thrown interceptions.
A job well done, Saints! May you do an even better job on the Colts in two weeks!!

That played a part too, but Favre was leading them down for a game-winning drive and made a terrible pass right down the middle with under 10 seconds to go in the 4th quarter. Who knows if Longwell would've made the FG, but Favre screwed up with the game on the line.

Otherwise, Favre is performing brilliantly, and the only thing keeping

I already knew that. However, Favre also likes to make poor throws with his "gun-slinger" mentality, like the INT he threw earlier. As good as people claim he is, he's just as equally as bad. How else would you explain being the career leader in TDs AND interceptions? Don't answer that, let's just watch the game.

Yes, there is a reason, FOX is not allowed to show nor speak of Favre more than 69 times per quarter, they've surpassed the limit for the first half already.
The Brett Favre Samsung commercials are alright though...

Thanks James, you are correct that the Redskins didn't have a hope in hell of making it to the SB and I knew that. All along I've been in favor of the two undefeated teams going to the SB. Of course neither of them is undefeated now, but it was still a hope. Besides, I honestly don't think my post pointed any fingers or named any names did it?
Wait, checking........

I think there have to be some realistic wishes too, I mean I couldn't have possibly thought the Chiefs were a playoff team this year nor thinking they had a shot in hell of making the Super Bowl. It's not really 'conceding' before the season starts, just realistic views. Same with the Redskins and Debi.
