The San Francisco 49ers opened as a 3 point road favorite over the Atlanta Falcons.
The oddsmakers have a lot of faith in the San Francisco 49ers—or very little in the Falcons—because they just opened as a 3 to 3.5 point road favorite over the number one seed in the NFC.
Oddsmakers must not have been impressed with Atlanta’s 30-28 nail bitter over the Seahawks on Sunday. The Falcons have entered the playoffs as a high seed in previous years only to get bounced in the first round—yesterday’s win gives Matt Ryan a 1-3 lifetime playoff record, and even though Falcons fans will take the win without complaining, the oddmakers need to see more.

Mad? lol, no. And the truth about odds don't hurt. This isn't exactly a surprise. Your assessment was based on one half of a game, so I was just pointing out another ridiculous fact from 2 other whole games. No big deal.

The line has already moved up to 5 points! Now I'm starting to like the Falcons... it's probably going to be a close game.

And Kaepernick looked like complete crap in the 2 games prior to the last one.

I think the odd makers got it right ... If it weren't for a bad time out call by Pete Carrol the Niners would be playing the Seahawks. The Falcons looked run down in the second half of that game.
