Yeah, Coach Carroll should keep the whole Seahawks' squad focus, Seattle could be the next team since the Pats to win back-to-back championships.

Former Texans' RB Ben Tate is officially a Cleveland Brown.  Tate's deal is 2 years worth $7 Million dollars.  Tate should strengthen the Browns' run offense that was 28th in the league this past season.

This is the news that will make every bear fan very disgruntled:  Former Bears' Defensive End Julius Peppers joins the team that the bears don't get along too well:  The Green Bay Packers.  Peppers' deal is 3-years worth $30 million plus $8 Million in his first year with the Packers.

3/15/14   |   kantwistaye   |   4211 respect

Love the Peppers signing for the Packers.  Just need a safety in the draft and add some DL depth through FA or draft and I can be okay with the offseason.

3/14/14   |   RaiderSteeler15   |   21075 respect

Former Seahawks' Cornerback Brandon Browner is officially a New England Patriot.  Browners' deal is worth $17 million and Browner will be a Pat for the next 3 years...  That move should beef up the Pats' secondary (Along with having Revis) that was 18th against the pass this past season.

Former Giants' WR Hakeem Nicks joins the Colts on a 1-year deal worth $3.5 million.  This should be a low-risk, high-reward move for the Colts to see where Hakeem Nicks is in the stage of his career and how healthy he can be...  As for the Giants, they better find another playmaker that can compliment Ruben Randle and Victor Cruz...

The Silver and Black signed former Texans' DE Antonio Smith to a 2-year deal worth $9 Million and the Raiders also signed former 49ers cornerback Tarell Brown.  Brown's deal is 1-year worth $3.5 million.  As a Raider fan, I hope the additions of Justin Tuck, Lamarr Woodley, Smith and Tarell Brown can help guide the Raiders' defense into one of the best defenses in the NFL this coming season.

Former Raiders' Defensive Lineman Vance Walker joins the KC Chiefs in a undisclosed deal...

Former Vikings' Cornerback Chris Cook signed a 1-year deal with the 49ers.

Former Ravens' Right Tackle Michael "Blind Side" Oher agreed on a 4-year, $20 million deal with $9.5 mil in guaranteed money with the Houston Oilers.

3/14/14   |   RaiderSteeler15   |   21075 respect

34-year-old former Panthers WR Steve Smith is officially a Baltimore Raven.  Smith's deal is 3-years, $12 million plus $3.5 million signing bonus...  The Ravens are loaded in the WR core with the addition of Steve Smith, Torry Smith, Jacoby Jones as well as having a healthy TE Dennis Pitta as well as TE Ed Dickson.  Don't be surprised if the Ravens were to win the AFC North this coming season with a offensive roster full of playmakers....

Packers' Defensive End B.J. Raji agreed to a 1-year, $4 million deal to remain with the Packers.

Former Rams' Cornerback Cortland Finnegan scored a 2-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.  Finnegan's deal is worth $11 million.

Bears' Cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman agreed to a 1-year deal with the Bears.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is released by the Houston Oilers.

Former Packers' Center Evan Dietrich-Smith agreed to a 4-year, $14.25 million deal with the Buccaneers.

Crazy saga of Roger Saffold ends with the Raiders pulling back their free agent offer because of a failed physical and the Rams resigning him to a 5 year deal.  The move certainly helps bolster an offensive line that had seen quite a bit of departures.  I still expect the Rams to take an offensive lineman with 1 of their two first round picks.

Welcome to the Big Apple Eric Decker!  He signed a 5-year deal worth $36.25 million with $15 million in guaranteed money with the NY Jets.  The Jets really need a 1,000 WR and hopefully the Jets can draft some more WRs because they are really hurting in that department and if they want to stay more competitive in the AFC East because Buffalo is getting better, New England isn't stepping down and who knows what Miami may have in their sleeves.

Panthers release 13-year WR Steve Smith...  Don't be surprised if Giants' WR Hakeem Nicks signs with the Panthers considering he's from Charlotte, NC where the panthers play their home games.

3/13/14   |   RaiderSteeler15   |   21075 respect

The N.O. Saints traded the versatile RB Darren Sproles to the Philadelphia Eagles. In return, the Saints will get the eagles' fifth round draft pick. One of the Saints' problems in the last couple of years was the running game as New Orleans was 25th in running the ball.  Saints RBs Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson better solve this problem this coming season in order for New Orleans to be a decent running team.  As for the Eagles, they are loaded in the running back department.

2 days into free agency and the Rams have yet to make any move.  In the meantime, they have lost 4 offensive lineman, 3 of them starters, and have Jake Long coming off major reconstructive knee surgery.  Anybody want to bet some Q bucks on what the Rams are going to be looking for in this year's draft?

3/12/14   |   RaiderSteeler15   |   21075 respect

5-time Pro Bowl Cornerback Darrelle Revis agreed to a 1-year deal with the New England Pats.  Revis is set to make $12 million dollars.

Former Seahawks Right Tackle Breno Giacomini striked a undisclosed deal with the NY Jets.  Giacomini was one of the most penalized tackles in 2012 and he struggled to protect Russell Wilson at times with the Seahawks...  Good Luck New York...

Buffalo Bills agreed with Cornerback Corey Graham on a 4-year deal worth $20 million dollars.

Outside Linebacker Mike Neal tweeted that he'll stay with the Green Bay Packers for 2-years.

Former Bears' QB who replace Jay Cutler while Cutler was injured -- Josh McCown 34 years of age has agreed to a 2-year deal with Tampa Bay.  McCown's deal is $10 million with $4.75 million in his 1st year with the team and $5.25 million in his 2nd year with Tampa Bay...  The deal also come with incentives where he could make up to $15 million dollars.  Bucs' QB Mike Glennon  will definitely have competition in his hands in terms of the Bucs' starting QB job.
