NFL Divisional Round 49ers-Saints Patriots-Broncos
QBs on display on Saturday [NFL Divisional Round open thread]
Two trips to the conference championship games are on the line today as the San Francisco 49ers square off with the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos.

Today, as much as any day, shows the importance of quarterback play in the NFL. A lot of people like the No. 3 seed Saints over the No. 2 seed 49ers today because Drew Brees is playing as well as anyone in the NFL.

And then, in the nightcap, the Tim Tebows take on the Tom Bradys Broncos take on the Patriots. True or not, most people see the Broncos' success rising and falling on back of Tim Tebow, and Tom Brady needs no introduction in New England. Can Tebow's stunning run of success continue in New England?

Here is game information for both games:

New Orleans Saints at San Francisco 49ers, 4:30 p.m. ET, FOX

Denver Broncos at New England Patriots, 8 p.m. ET, CBS

And as a reminder, here are previews and picks for the games.

Enjoy, folks.

SF scores first! A little surprised at that I must admit.

2 TD and no INT for Alex Smith, and 0 TD, 1 INT from Brees? 14-0, 49ers winning after the 1st quarter?

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought would happen.

And knocking on the door for another score soon. Wow.

17-7 now.  Brees has a look of desperation on his face.  Not sure exactly why i read this game so very wrong - at least so far.

Saints tighten it up to 17-14, but then a costly interception before the half gives the 49ers a chance to extend their lead.

Crazy game... the Saints have a legit chance to win, despite a -4 turnover differential.

I have said "holy s**t" more times in this half than I did the whole of last week's Broncos/Steelers game, even including the final play of the game........

That's probably the most amazing last 4 minutes of a football game I've ever watched.

What a freaking game!

After watching the Saints defense make Alex Smith look like John Elway, I'm changing my mind about whether I want Greg Williams to be the Rams new defensive coordinator

So... uhhh... how's Tebow doing?

Not sure how anybody can be shocked about what happened in the Broncos/Patriots game.  You just knew that with all the hype surrounding Tebow heading into this game that Brady and company would come out and send a clear cut message that there would be no repeat of the Steeler game
