NFL Power Rankings Week 4: Dallas Cowboys Cement Themselves At No. 1
How 'Bout Them Cowboys?

When Felix Jones bolted 60 yards for a go-ahead Cowboys touchdown at Lambeau Field, Dallas officially cemented itself as the best team in the NFL. The Cowboys didn't stop running over the Packers on their home, and like the rookie Jones in the open field, I doubt anyone is going to catch them.

Here's my NFL Top 10 Power Rankings after three weeks:

1. Dallas Cowboys When you've got the one of the top five running backs in the league complimented by the top rookie, you're going places. Oh yeah, and there's this Tony Romo guy passing to Jason Witten and Terrell Owens has he pleases. With a balanced attack and a defense that has stepped up when needed, I don't see the Cowboys falling out of this spot anytime soon. The only concern has to be Romo's occassional gaffes. Sooner or later, one will cost them a game.

Another fitting highlight from Sunday night was Terence Newman unnecessarily body-slamming Donald Driver:

2. Philadelphia Eagles Jim Johnson took advantage of a shaky Steelers offensive line and pounded Ben Roethlisberger. It was exactly the performance the Eagles needed to establish themselves as one of the NFL's best. Unfortunately, they're merely one of the NFC East's best, as well. Philly travels to Chicago for this week's Sunday night game where they should be able to expose another weak O-Line.

3. New York Giants Yes, a third straight NFC East team. Sunday's OT win over Cincinnati was less than impressive, but the Bengals finally found their groove in the passing game. With that said, they're still the defending Super Bowl Champions and know what it takes to win close games.

4. Denver Broncos You can't be impressed with their defense and have one the last two games thanks to a missed call and missed field goal, but until their offense is held under 30 points, they deserve Top 5 billing.

5. Buffalo Bills Trent Edwards is turning into a regular Jim Kelly right before our eyes. OK, that might be a stretch, but have you seen his fourth quarter production the last two weeks? Edwards passer rating improves steadily throughout the game, peaking with a 122.4 in the final quarter so far.

6. Green Bay Packers Losing to the NFL's best team is no reason to lose faith in the Packers. The Pack is improving each week under Aaron Rodgers and will battle the NFC for the conference's championship. I still question whether the running game is where it needs to be. Grant needs a compliment, and by that I don't mean Brandon Jackson.

7. Tennessee Titans It's not pretty, which is often a factor in Power Rankings, but they're getting it done and Kerry Collins gives the offense more confidence. Cortland Finnegan is pretty much a badass.

8. San Diego Chargers A 1-2 team in the Top 8? You bet. San Diego will be just fine and will overcome two last second losses to start the season. First things first: get LaDainian Tomlinson healthy. It'd be nice to have Michael Turner, wouldn't it?

9. New England Patriots Let's not panic just yet. The defense failed to show up and that's concerning, but I'm going to wait a few more weeks before eliminating the seasoned Pats as a contender.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers
Since not every team can blitz like the Eagles, Pittsburgh will still cruise to an AFC North title even if the offensive line continues to impersonate the Heinz Field turnstiles.

Worst Team? Still holding strong with the Lions.

Flip the names around and you're right.  Ryan Grant sucks.  Ultimately, TT screwed this team by not getting a running back.  Eventually we're going to need to grind it out, and we can't.
