The NFL's popularity is at an all-time high, and this coming season seems as intriguing as ever. Time to feed the beast and take a division-by-division look at the five biggest questions facing each team in the league. Here's the AFC West.

Denver Broncos

Peyton Manning!-- how long can he sustain this legendary level of play?

How good can the Manning to Welker connection be?

Is 2nd round draft pick Montee Ball going to be a stud in the backfield?

Will Peyton be able to lead the Broncos to the Super Bowl or will he throw the big INT again when the game is on the line?

How much will the Broncos pass rush miss Elvis Dumervil?

Kansas City Chiefs

Will Andy Reid coach the Chiefs into a winning team?

How will Alex Smith fare outside of San Francisco with Harbaugh's system?

Jamaal Charles stormed back from his knee injury with a brilliant season last year. Can he repeat the performance?

The Chiefs think they got a steal in TE Travis Kelce, who fell to the 3rd round of the draft due to off-field issues. Will they be vindicated in taking the chance?

The Chiefs are the popular pick to be the most improved team from 2012 to 2013. Will they live up to the hype or disappoint the diehards in KC?

Oakland Raiders

We should finally get a chance to see career-backup Matt Flynn start at QB. Can he be successful?

Will Terrell Pryor see some time on the field, perhaps running the wildcat or spread option?

Can Darren McFadden stay healthy?

Will the Raiders regret trading out of that 3rd overall pick? The performances of DJ Hayden and Menelik Watson will provide the answer to this question.

Could 4th round draft pick Tyler Wilson be the dark horse at quarterback? If Flynn doesn't deliver early, Wilson could be starting.

San Diego Chargers

At last, a new head coach in San Diego. How will Mike McCoy do in his first year?

This is a make or break season for Philip Rivers. Will he rebound from the worst year of his career?

WR Danario Alexander came on real strong during the 2nd half of last season, often looking like a true #1 threat. Can he pick up where he left off?

How's Manti Te'o going to fare? If he looks as good as he did throughout most of college, a lot of teams are going to kick themselves for letting the championship game against Alabama and the off-season headlines affect their scouting of him as a player.

Will 1st round draft pick DJ Fluker be able to protect his QB's blindside? Rivers began to unravel last season after taking one too many hits he simply could not see coming.
