5	Seeing as this is the first Sunday in months that it has been under 100 degrees here, much less under 90, I'm off to go enjoy the great outdoors. And by "go enjoy" I mean "go drink at" and by "the great outdoors" I mean "a bar with an outside patio". Enjoy the football everyone.

8-1 so far for me straight up, I await my crappy spread picks as always.

Thoughts from the games.

Eagles/Lions. The Lions are still the Lions, and the Eagles aren't as bad as people think they are.

Pack/Chargers. My only wrong pick. Something is wrong with LDT, shut down again. Great game by the Packers D, and old man Favre looked good.

KC/MIN. Umm....neither is that good.

NE/BUF. Believe the crazy spread, not a shock that they mauled them.

MIA/NYJ. Jets D not very impressive there, that's a problem for them for sure.

PIT/SF. Not shocked, SF wasn't nearly as good as people made them out to be. Willie Parker is a beast.

TB/STL. Rams aren't very good. So much for my NFC West pick...Buccaneeers may be a lot better than we give them credit for though.

BAL/ARI. Ravens D got eaten alive by Warner to Boldin. That offense won't get a weak D to face every week, they will lose games if that D remains like that.

IND/HOU. Not sure what the Colts special teams were doing. Great vs the run today, average against the pass. Offense strong as always.

And also, what is this yellow pants yellow helmet that Washington is wearing? Enough with these throwbacks!!!

0	Very strange play in Seattle. Burelson and a Bengals DB fight for the ball as they come down. It bounces off them and Madieu Williams grabs it before the ball hits the ground. Very unlucky for the Seahawks.
