Every morning of NFL Training Camps we'll share our thoughts on the revelations coming out of practice. That's right, we're talking about practice. Hey, at least it's not about Brett Favre.
Picture of the Day Larry Foote welcomes Melwelde Moore to Steelers camp.
Jared Allen making early impact If you're a fan of watching line of scrimmage battles, the heart of football, Vikings camp is where it's at. Newly acquired defensive end Jared Allen is going head-to-head with Bryant McKinnie and winning quite a few battles early. Adrian Peterson will get the headlines, but Allen will be the most valuable player in the Vikings earning the second best NFC record. Book it.
Troy Smith in line to start Yes, Ohio State's former QB is in position to become to interim starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens until Joe Flacco is ready to take over. Flacco's early camp returns are about what's been expected: good day, bad day, good, bad. And Kyle Boller will forever possess the big arm, but underwhelm in every other facet of the position. So with Smith opening the season (maybe), how big does that week 1 matchup against Cincinnati look? With the Ravens early schedule, that could be a seaon maker.
Jared Lorenzen is in Colts camp Without Peyton Manning, Colts preseason were going to be boring. Not any more with the Pillsbury Throwboy around.
Rex vs Orton Update Yesterday has been called one of the worst practices by a pair of quarterbacks those following the Bears have ever seen. Awesome.
