NFL Week 11 Picks: Pressure Mounts for Brady and the Patriots
READ MORE:
NFL

I suppose the story of the week is the Patriots pursuit of an undefeated record. Not too many overly compelling games, Giants and Lions should tell us a lot, but it's a road game on Sunday night following a bye week that could present a challenge for New England. The pressure is mounting, but I loved the message Tom Brady delivered to his teammates this week: "If you don't want to be in that position, you might as well quit the game," Brady said, "because if it's too much that you're winning and all of a sudden that's pressure, this probably isn't the right sport for you." One of the many reasons this team has been so great this decade.

Time to get your Week 11 NFL Picks in. Here's mine (bold = cover)

Bucs (-3.5) over Falcons
Do you think the Fox announcers picked straws to see who got stuck with this one? Luckily with all the running it should be over quickly. Tampa Bay will roll thanks to, guess what, a few Joey interceptions.

Giants (-3.5) over Lions
I'm still not a believer yet in either team. Both more than capable of putting together a great effort and beating up on any NFC team but also capable of taking the week off. With the Packers paying a visit on Thanksgiving, Detroit could use a win. Unfortunately, Usi Uminsackalot will get to Kitna and disrupt the attack. Giants by a touchdown.

Eagles (-10.5) over Dolphins
Brian Westbrook is a question mark, but even without I think we'll see a relatively error free day from Donovan McNabb and a two TD victory.

Raiders (+5.5) over Vikings
Over/under on interceptions: 5. Raiders win 3-0.

Chargers (+3.5) over Jaguars
Fortunate to hang on Monday night, San Diego should feel some new playoff life. Hopefully watching how much Jack Del Rio feeds Maurice Jones-Drew will remind Norv Turner that he has a good duel-threat back as well. Decent day from an involved LT = close win.

Colts (-14.5) over Chiefs
Many are picking Indy in a route, but I think Peyton gets distracted by goodness that is Kelli Croyle and decides to take it easy on the Chiefs D.

Saints (+1.5) over Texans
Not sure what happened last week, but Good-Saints will return to the field Sunday.

Packers (-10.5) over Panthers
I didn't have the cajones to pick the outright upset, but I can't help but think Green Bay has an off week. Close game.

Bengals (-3.5) over Cardinals
Dear Carson, Abort game plan and just pass 65 times. Signed, your fantasy owners.

Patriots (-14.5) over Bills
Two home Sunday Night games in Buffalo. Wow. Upset? No.

Ravens (+2.5) over Browns
Against my better judgment I'm thinking Derek Anderson comes back to Earth with a few picks, one of which gets taken to the house. Ravens get another special teams TD because how else will they score.

Steelers (-10.5) over Jets
Was tempted to actually pick another upset here. Pittsburgh and Big Ben has received plenty of accolades over the last two weeks. Won't be pretty, but they're good enough to beat NY on an off day.

Cowboys (-10.5) over Redskins
Anyone else think Joe Gibbs time is up. Great guy, but just need some new life. Romo does his thing on the Skins secondary.

Rams (-2.5) over 49ers
If I was going to put my bank account on a spread, here's the game. St. Louis should be playing loose with a win under their belts. Two words: Trent Dilfer.

Bears (+5.5) over Seahawks
This pick will be wrong, but felt compelled to show some confidence in Rex Grossman. Just don't fumble a snap, that's all I ask.

What are your picks for the week? And bold fantasy predictions for a certain player?
