NFL Week 11 Schedule And Live Thread
A Romoriffic Day Is Upon Us [NFL Live Thread]
READ MORE:

A fairly decent slate of games today with the best part being that we end the day with a huge game in the NFC East between the Cowboys and Redskins. And, of course, Tony Romo is back in action.

Early games to keep an eye on include Titans/Jags, Bears/Packers, Vikings/Bucs, Ravens/Giants. Also do not, I repeat, do not watch any games involving either the 49ers or Raiders.

And now on to my lock of the week. This is a game that I know for certain who will win, and so far, I've gotten it right every week. Although that's mainly because I picked whoever was playing the Bengals. This week, I'm taking the Carolina Panthers as my lock of the week not just because I think the Detroit Lions suck, but because I really want to see them go 0-16. And I'm pretty confident they can do that.

The entire day's schedule is listed below, with links to each of the individual game pages. Feel free to chat up the day's action either on those pages or right here.

We'll also have a live thread for tonight's Romotastic Sunday Night game.

Denver Broncos at Atlanta Falcons 1:00 ET CBS
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts 1:00 ET CBS
Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 ET CBS
Oakland Raiders at Miami Dolphins 1:00 ET CBS
Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants 1:00 ET CBS
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers 1:00 ET FOX
Philadelphia Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals 1:00 ET FOX
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers 1:00 ET FOX
New Orleans Saints at Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 ET FOX
Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00 ET FOX
St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers 4:05ET FOX
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks 4:05ET FOX
San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers 4:15ET CBS

Not necessarily blind faith, just loyalty in my mind.

Whats 20 FanIQ points for a Chiefs win? I don't put down real money for any Chiefs games this season, and you might guess why...but as far as points that really don't matter, I'll go Chiefs 16-0 and Twins 162-0 every year.

I understand where you are coming from, but I'm a realist with picks, even if it means picking the other team to win.  I root for those to be wrong though, I just pick what I think will happen without bias.

Can we just skip the rest of the season and playoffs and have a Titans/Giants Super Bowl?

A great drive for Tyler yet again thats capped off with a Larry Johnson TD.

Umm...CBS; you gave me the intro to the Pitt game, I was listening to Jim and Phil...and you switch it to Jacksonville?? According to my map, I'm supposed to have Pitt and San Diego...

EDIT:: nevermind, my map changed on me...they chose to switch it late..

It's snowin' in the Burgh!  This should be a fun game, REAL football weather!

Polamalu got his hand under that ball just before it hit the ground.

How in the hell are you going to call pass interference when the ball was over everybody's head?!  The refs have done it again.

The Eagles are going to get screwed for the loss, a TOTAL BS roughing call put the Bengals in FG range.

Now it's up to Shayne Graham.

I'm thoroughly convinced if that was Ward or Holmes, we would've had the TD, but Washington couldn't get it across the plane.  Meanwhile, the incredibly lousy offensive line is at it again.

The refs are giving the Chargers so many gifts it's unbelievable.  He signaled for a fair catch, but started to take off as he got tackled!  You can't do that, that should be a penalty on the Chargers!  Anyone who knows anything about football can't honestly say that was right to call the penalty on the Steelers there!

Our defense is playing so good; they don't deserve our offense.

I thought it looked like he wanted a fair catch, but when he saw he was about to get hit, he braced himself for the hit.

Eh, he called the fair catch.  You gotta assume the refs do the right thing.

You can't start moving like you're going to take off after you signal for a fair catch, period.

When you move at all after signaling a fair catch, you're fair game to be hit.

Right, but you can't hit him either.  Maybe it should have been offsetting, but the Pittsburgh guy wasn't in the right either.

You're wrong on that one.  The FG was the right call.  It was a chip shot that was an easy 3 for Reed.  If you go for the TD, there's no guarantee you get it, and you only have one attempt.  If you don't make it, you go into the locker room with nothing.  At least with the FG you were guaranteed to get points before the end of the half.

That 2nd down pass is a perfect example of why I hate Nate Washington.  He can't catch the ball that's thrown right at him.

We got a pretty high scoring baseball game in Pittsburgh.

They SHOULD have taken the FG early as well, it'd be 11-7.

Yeah, both starters didn't go past the 4th, and the relievers have been struggling as well.

Suddenly Pittsburgh is forgetting how to play defense.

Actually we don't know that.  If they had kicked the FG it would possibly be 9-7, because the miss on 4th and goal is what led to the safety.

Come the F*** on, Steelers!  Roethlisberger has had a solid game, and now it's defense that's fudging up!

Whoever draws them in the playoffs would be jumping with joy, the Cardinals won't stand a chance.

They haven't won in Seattle in forever.  A win there would be huge for them.  It would pretty much clinch them their division.

Looked like the Titans would just be running the ball to let the time down, then a nice play action with Gage open in the endzone...TD Titans

24-14

Woohoo, Chargers and Steelers may be making history LOL.  There's never been an 11-10 final in NFL history.  As long as Pittsburgh doesn't give up a big return on the kickoff they should be good.

The ruling the ref gave was that when the forward pass was thrown, the ball was dead.

I didn't see a bad forward pass, anyhow...

So a Pennsylvania team ties a game, six years after a Pennsylvania team ties a game, while a Pennsylvania team makes history being half of the first ever 11-10 final score. Awesome.

Where's Pat when Roethlisberger plays well?  I know the Steelers never got a TD, but he did everything right...31/41 for 308 yards and no picks.  Of course he'll never admit that Roethlisberger actually played a good game, that would go against his beliefs.

I didn't see it either, but they won, and I'd like to try to forget that game even though I'm never going to be able to.  The best stat though, 13-0 lifetime for the Steelers against the Chargers in the regular season when the game is played in Pittsburgh...although it still doesn't compensate for the 1994 AFC Championship.
