In May of 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Yeah yeah, we all remember that poem from grade school, right? Happy Columbus Day everyone. To celebrate, the NHL is giving us 9 games this afternoon and this evening. The action kicks off at 1:00 ET in Boston and goes all the way to a 7:30 PT face-off in San Jose. The Kings are off to a red-hot 3-1-0 start, and they're on Long Island to face the Isles who have 3 overtime losses to start the season. After the Kings/Isles game, we get a dinner break on the east coast and a late lunch hour out west before the next round of games kicks off at 7:00 ET, which includes the battle of Florida and a high-profile matchup in DC between the Caps and Devils. Atlantic Division leading Pens and Rangers are both in action tonight against the 2 Ontario teams. The Rangers host Toronto at MSG, and the Pens are in Ottawa. At 7:00 central time, it's a battle of C-towns as Chicago hosts Calgary. There's sure to be a lot of action today, here's your full lineup of games:
