Tonight's TV goodness

Sweet merciful crap. The Mets are on ESPN again? ESPN knows there are other teams out there, right? Thank God there are some do-or-die NHL Playoff games tonight. Same cannot be said of the NBA.

Major League Baseball: Atlanta at New York Mets (ESPN, 7 p.m.).

NBA: Eastern Conference semifinals, Game 4, Cleveland at Atlanta (TNT, 7 p.m.); Western Conference semifinals, Game 4, Denver at Dallas (TNT, 9:30 p.m.).

NHL: Eastern Conference semifinals, Game 6, Washington at Pittsburgh (Versus, 7 p.m.); Western Conference semifinals, Game 6, Vancouver at Chicago (Versus, 9 p.m.).

These playoffs have been great, too bad the NHL gets such bad coverage (thank you Mr. Bettman). That Canes/Devils series was very good, the Wings/Ducks and Caps/Pens are pretty darn good as well. Pretty hard to beat the NHL playoffs no matter who is playing.

I have no stake in either team, I just want to see some good hockey, and have it extended. Ovie does seem to be getting that reputation, but he shouldn't be compared to A-Rod, the dude hasn't played long enough for that. 2-3 future early playoff exits and we'll see, but the guy had a hat trick a few games ago. The Pens have clearly gotten into the head of Varlamov, but I expect a close game tonight.
