Correction on my earlier statement, the Pens did beat the Kings in OT back in November 2006. It's San Jose where they haven't won since 1997, and prior to beating Anaheim 2 years ago, they hadn't won there since 1999.

Also, given Stoney's article today, I must point out that Mike Knuble has been playing on the 4th line lately. Not exactly a fighter or fringe player.

Can I have some of what Bruce Boudreau is smoking?

Chris Kunitz goes 5-hole on Quick and scores in the 4th round of the shootout, Pens get the extra point with a 3-2 win! Considering the miserable times they've had in CA, I'll take 3 out of 4 points any day. Now to come home for a nice long break and welcome Sid back Friday night against Dallas.

The Caps lost to the Islanders 5-3 tonight. My vantage point at a bar wasn't great, but Japers Rink seems to mostly pin it on a leaky Vokoun. It being a second game of a back to back probably didn't help. Eh, it happens.

STOP THE PRESS! "Buy Sam a drink and get his dog one too!" Chris Kunitz ties it up again! Come on Pens, at least send this to OT if not win this.

By the way, the Pens win in Anaheim back in 2009 on this trip is, if memory serves me, the only win the Pens have had in the state of California in more than 10 years. They always mange to find ways to lose on their west coast swing. The Western Canada trip goes well, but the Cali trip, fuggedaboutit.

Gagne scores on a delayed penalty call to the Pens, 2-1 Kings with under 6 minutes to play in the 3rd. That hurts, and probably kills any chances the Pens had to win this game or at least get a point.

Thank goodness the Red Wings finally broke out of their slump. Still need improvements on many aspects of their game, and some key players need to start showing up to the rink, though.

Penguins coughed up the puck leading to a quick 2-on-1. Kopitar walked in and roofed it on Fleury, 1-1 tie after 2 periods in Hollywood.

Pens score a late PP goal in the first period, and FINALLY Steve Sullivan finds the back of the net!

Hopefully the Ducks can snap out of their slump now, coming home. That road swing was just about as depressing as the last couple of Seahawks games...ugh you'd think the sports gods would gimme SOMETHING.

Thankfully The Red Wing Snapped Their Loosing Skid. 5-0 Winners Over Tha Ducks.

Someone is going to be fired in the next 48 hours in Columbus as these team is down 8-0 after 40.

I love watching Toronto get their asses handed to them. 5-0 Boston.
Tyler Seguin with his first career hatrick as well.

Tyler Seguin has 2 shots on goal, they both found the back of the net, and the first was on a PP. Boston leads Toronto 3-0, and I'm happy Stamkos had the night off so I could stick Seguin in the lineup!

Flyers fans can leave now and still feel like they got their money's worth
This team is by far the worst I've seen. How they won 2 games is beyond me.

I'm really feeling bad for the Jackets...................................but I'm digging the fact I have Bryz and Claude Giroux on my fantasy team right now. I'm tired of losing.

Columbus is one bad team, 5-0 Philadelphia after 20. Changes are coming in Columbus.

Double UGH Jess, the Wings have scored their 1 goal for the night so the Ducks have got this game in the bag.

Well.....I'll soon be heading out to Staples for the Kings/Penguins game. Not real sure why I'm going to go since I was told earlier that the Kings sucked and were Queens (though I never got why "Queens" was such a slam.....Queens are badass, but to each his own). Makes me wonder why they should even play tonight. Hmmpf. Hmmmmmm. Wetzel Pretzels.
