Playoffs continue but could end for two teams tonight
Today we continue in the spirit of the playoffs, first, with an early game, the only one that cannot decide a series. The Philadelphia Flyers and the New Yord Rangers are tied at 2 games apiece, even though the Rangers looked poised to dominate the series. Philly has come out fighting, however, and we can expect more of the same today. Keep your eyes on Hal Gill. At 39 he is in the best mood, loving the ice time he gets and thriving in the playoff atmosphere. For the Rangers, Rick Nash may be holding back a little, anticipating being around for the second round, but he and his team needs to win this series first. If he steps up the way he can, he could be the player to watch.
The second game, airing several hours later, features the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues. The Blues looked like they were going to sweep the series having taken a 2-0 lead right out of the gate. However, the Blackhawks have come back, and now lead the series 3-2. Our resident Kings' expert, kteacher, posted this gem a couple of days ago.

Game 6: ???
I personally hope the Blues break that and win. Not because I dislike the Blackhawks, because I don't. I just would love to see the Blues in the second round this year.
And finally, the Ducks continue to battle the Dallas Stars. I don't know why this Dallas team is so difficult for the Ducks to get past. It annoys me. A good friend of mine is Dallas fan, but our own Jess is, of course, the Queen of the Duck's fans. I hope Anaheim can close out the series tonight.
