It's not quite Super Saturday, but there are still 12 NHL games on tap for tonight.  This is your official open hockey thread to discuss the happenings during your game and all others.  Here's tonight's schedule...

Miroslav Satan just scored a goal that oughta make SC's top 10 plays tonight.  He shot the puck backwards with his stick between his legs and through the legs of Mathieu Garon.

2-0 Pens on a shorthanded goal.  Crosby got a nice breakaway to the goal and Talbot got the rebound in the net.

In a game that rates a 10 on the suckiness scale, the Thrashers and Islanders are tied 1-1.

Actually, it's been fun to watch so far.  Both teams have been steadily up and down the ice all night.  And the Thrashers are starting their "future goalie" tonight, so we are getting a look at him.  So far, he looks pretty damn good.

Talbot almost had another SH goal.  The Oilers look awful, now 0-4 on the PP and a total of about 6 shots.  They've also only won 5 of 20 faceoffs.  The Pens are forcing turnovers galore in the neutral zone and in the Oilers' end of the ice.

DAYUM!  Satan with his 2nd goal of the game with an extra attacker because of a penalty coming up.  The goal negated one penalty, but there was still another penalty.  So just after they score, they're on their first power play of the night...3-0 Pens.

Oh dear God, 5-4, the Pens have royally screwed up this game.  5-on-3, then still a power play because of the 5-minute fighting major, and they give up a shorthanded goal.

The Pens had a 5-0 lead and got lucky to hang on.  They still won 5-4, but that was pathetic in the 3rd period.
