Penguins Win 4-2 In Game Two.
Fairly even and close game overall. Shots were even in the 1st, and then Pittsburgh led by three shots in the other two periods. Overall, the Penguins had 38 shots to the Flyers 32. Fleury and Biron both played pretty good games. Sidney Crosby scored the games' first goal on a powerplay halfway through the first period. Then, later in the period, it appeared that Crosby had another goal. The puck looked like it had completely crossed the line right after it went in Biron's glove. However, they said there wasn't "indisputable" evidence, and it was called a no goal.
Philadelphia would tie it in the 2nd on a Jeff Carter powerplay goal. The Penguins would reclaim the lead on a Marian Hossa powerplay goal. The Flyers would tie it to end the period, as Mike Richards had a shorthanded breakaway goal. In the third period, the Penguins reclaimed the lead halfway through on a Max Talbot goal. Jordan Staal would end the game on an empty netter, giving the Penguins a 4-2 win. Sergei Gonchar had 3 assists.
With that, Pittsburgh leads the series 2-0, game 3 is Tuesday in Philadelphia.
