About Me:
Big NFL nut. There is nothing better than NFL Sunday. (Or Monday...or Saturday...) If there is an NFL game on, you can bet I'll be watching it or at least trying to watch it. I'm a Colts fan, spent 15 years of my life in the great state of Indiana before moving to Michigan 2 years ago, and it kills me being forced to watch the Lions each week. 49ers are my favorite NFC team, just because as a kid, my favorite player was (and probably still is) Jerry Rice.

I can enjoy most sports. Hockey, in person, is fantastic and may be the best in person. I go to each of Ferris State's College hockey games, and I watch the NHL, although more in the playoffs than regular season. Didn't get in to hockey until I came to Michigan, thus I'm a Wings fan.

I do enjoy baseball, and am a Cubs fan from a long line of Cubs fans in the family. I like basketball, but I ultimately probably enjoy high school ball the best, as it's really the game at it's purest form and how it's meant to be. College football games I do find interesting, but I can't get in to it because I know there won't be a legitimate finale to the season thanks to the worthless BCS.

I do public address announcing for my high school's various sporting events, and have done football, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, and basketball. I've also do PA for a club hockey team at Ferris State, and I did color commentary on a local radio station for my high schools' football team (1-9 d'oh!) as well as a few state playoff games.

And...wow I really wrote too much here. The end.

Stars Win 2-1, Keep Comeback Alive
.

Statistically, Detroit controlled shots as they do most games.  The Red Wings had 39 shots to Dallas' 21, and Detroit won 41 of the 61 faceoffs.  Detroit's 10 giveaways to Dallas' 5 ended up hurting them.  Marty Turco was fantastic again, making 38 of 39 saves, and he was apart of a winner for the first time in his NHL career at Joe Lewis Arena.

Dallas scored the first goal of the game halfway through the first period, as Trevor Daley scored his first of the postseason.  Detroit would match before the period was over, as Jiri Hudler scored on a powerplay, making the game tied after one.  In the second period, Joel Lundqvist scored (assist by Turco) what would end up being the game winning goal.  Detroit would lead 25-11 in shots in the 2nd and 3rd periods, but they were unable to come up with a goal.  With that, the Stars force a game 6, which will be back in Dallas on Monday Night.

Game 5: Flyers at Penguins (PIT leads 3-1) 3:00 ET on NBC/CBC

Will the Flyers follow suit with the Stars and keep their series alive?  Or will the Penguins move on to the Finals?

Considering Marty Turco had NEVER won in Detroit regular season or otherwise and is only 2-10-5 against them overall, and is usually as unclutch as they come in general, this is one of the most surprising sports stories of the season.  He's never exhibited these guts before.  If Dallas somehow forces 7 and wins a 7th game?  Regardless of how you view hockey, that would go down as the greatest comeback in the history of sports.  Detroit won't let that happen, obviously.
