As we get closer and closer to the Stanley Cup finals, the Wrap-Around is here to recap last nights conference final action.Sabres keep series alive with 3-2 victory. The Sabres aren't dead yet, picking up their first win of the series, but they still are down 3-1. Ottawa was very strong though, outshooting them 33-22, as well as dominating faceoffs and hits.
The game started very well for the Sabres, as they had a goal only 9 seconds into the game. Derek Roy scored on it. The early second period also went well. Maxim Afinogenov scored a powerplay goal, and then Chris Drury scored a goal to give them a 3-0 lead. But the Senators weren't going to die, scoring on a McAmmond and a Schaefer goal before the period's end to get within one. Ottawa had 15 shots in the 3rd period, but they couldn't get one in, giving the Sabres a 3-2 final.
The Senators still lead the series 3-1, game 5 is in Buffalo on Saturday at 2 PM (NBC).
